Representative Sandack to Partner with Senator Radogno and Representative Durkin for 2nd Annual Jobs Fair

Are you looking for a job or a new career? State Representative Ron Sandack (R-Downers Grove), State Senator Christine Radogno (R-Lemont) and State Representative Jim Durkin (R-Western Springs) invite you to participate in their FREE Jobs Fair on July 22, 2015 in Willowbrook.

The Jobs Fair will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Ashton Place, 341 75th St. Willowbrook, Illinois. If your resume needs some improvement, at 9:45 a.m. you might want to attend the “Stand Out Resumes” workshop. At 10:45 a.m. a workshop will be held that will help you through the interview process, and the final workshop at 11:45 a.m. will focus on networking your way to a new job. All of the workshops are free of charge.

“While we continue to fight for legislative solutions to improve Illinois’ jobs climate, we also support local events like this one that help match qualified candidates with dozens of employers,” said Senator Radogno. “The goal of this event is to provide businesses and potential employees with accessible and ample resources to assist in the job search process.”

“The rate of unemployment in Illinois is unacceptable, and we need to pair people who want to work with jobs that suit their skill-sets,” said House Republican Leader Jim Durkin (R-Western Springs). “I would encourage all people who are in search of sustainable employment to update their resumes and to come dressed to interview at these jobs fair.”

“As Illinois continues to lag behind other states with regard to unemployment, we are doing everything we can to help put Illinoisans back to work,” said State Representative Ron Sandack (R-Downers Grove). “This jobs fair puts 120 employers in one room so that those seeking good jobs can maximize the efficiency of their job search.”
