Residential Burglary, Retail Theft: Darien Police Reports

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

February 14

• Greg Caulton, 72, of Downers Grove, was arrested at 3:49 p.m. in the 1300 block of Plainfield Road for driving while license suspended, driving with expired license plates and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Caulton was processed and released with a court date of March 22 at Downers Grove Field Court.
• Pavol Gabor, 27, of Lemont, was arrested at 7:13 p.m. in the 7300 block of Cass on a warrant from DuPage County. He was taken to DuPage County Jail. He was also issued a ticket for soliciting.

February 15

• Melissa Barnes, 36, of Downers Grove, was arrested at 5:46 p.m. at Oldfield Road and Lemont Road for driving while license suspended. Barnes was processed and released with a court date of March 15 at the Downers Grove Field Court.

February 16

• Daniel Martinez, 43, of Westmont, was arrested at 5:20 a.m. in the 7400 block of Cass for no valid driver's license and speeding. Martinez was processed and released with a court date of March 1 at the Downers Grove Traffic Court.

February 18

• Arsenjije Kaludjerovic, 29, of Warrenville, was arrested at 9:44 p.m. in the 8600 block of Lemont Road for driving while license revoked and a warning citation for driving with one headlight. Kaludjerovic was processed and released with a court date of March 15 at the Downers Grove Field Court.

February 19

• Someone entered a home in the 8100 block of Park Crest Drive between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. They entered the home through a window and stole a laptop, iPad, computer, Apple pen, amplifier, Xbox consoles and video games. Approximate value of items is $5,318.

February 20

• Ollie Triplett, 57, of Chicago, was arrested at 7:43 p.m. at Walmart, 2189 75th Street for retail theft. Triplett concealed miscellaneous items totaling $283 and left out of the story without paying.
