Restaurant Grill Stolen, DUI: Darien Police Reports
Darien Police reports through Aug. 15.

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Aug. 8
- A charcoal grill was stolen from Chuck's Southern Comforts, 8025 Cass Ave., at 6:50 a.m. Aug. 8. Surveillance video shows an unknown male exiting a car, taking the refinished grill from the lot and leaving. The approximate loss is $1,500.
- A saw was stolen from a construction truck at 1:11 p.m. at Ridge Road and Spring Court. The unknown man offender left the area in a black Audi with other occupants inside. The loss is $1,600.
- Two hedge trimmers were stolen from a landscape trailer at 1:15 p.m. in the 7900 block of Cass Avenue. The unknown male offender left the area in a black Audi. The loss is $1,000.
- Daniel Armijo, 32, of Mokena, was arrested at 2:31 a.m. in the 10200 block of Lemont Road for two counts of DUI-alcohol, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and improper overtaking on the right. Armijo was processed and released with a court date of Sept. 18 at DuPage County Judicial Center.

- Timothy Howard, 30, of Lemont, was arrested at 12:01 a.m. at Lemont Road and 101st Street for driving while license suspended and expired plates. Howard was processed and released with a court date of Aug. 30 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.
- Rayford Cerny, 40, of the 900 block of Hickory Lane, was arrested at 9:19 p.m. in the 900 block of Hickory for a failure to appear warrant out of Kendall County. Cerny was processed and taken to DuPage County Sheriff’s Office.
Aug. 12
- Alexandr Shockman, 25, of Chicago, was arrested at 2:51 a.m. in the 1500 block of 75th Street for DUI-alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol and speeding. Shockman was processed and released with a court date of Sept. 18 at DuPage CountyJudicial Center.

- An unknown male offender stole several bottles of alcohol from Walmart, 2189 75th St., at 7:41 a.m. The total loss was $1,626.54.
- Humberto Garcia, 43, of Cicero, was arrested at 6:10 p.m. at Cass north of 75th Street for a failure to appear warrant out of DuPage County. Garcia was processed and given a court date by DuPage County of Sept. 26 in Addison.
