Restaurant Vandalism, DUI: Darien Police
Someone damaged the letters of a local eatery's sign, police say.
DARIEN, IL — The Darien Police Department released its latest blotter. Here is information from the police reports:
Restaurant vandalism
- Uncle Mao's Chinese Cuisine, 8133 Cass Ave., reported that someone damaged the letters of its business sign overnight Dec. 29.
DUI

- Jose Lima, 28, of Bolingbrook, was arrested Sunday near Dunkin' Donuts in the 7500 block of Cass Avenue on charges of aggravated DUI, driving with a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Warrant
- David Kindt, 27, of Darien, was arrested on a DuPage County warrant shortly after noon Dec. 29. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Chelsea Timmins, 28, of Chicago, turned herself in for a warrant Dec. 29. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
Driving violations

- Bryan Garcia, 18, of Chicago, was cited about 4 p.m. Dec. 29 at Lemont Road and 87th Street on charges of no valid driver's license and driving too fast for conditions. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Azaria Hill, 20, of Round Lake Beach, was cited about 12:30 a.m. Friday in the 3200 block of 87th Street on charges of driving with a suspended license, possession of marijuana by a driver and speeding. The suspect, who was clocked going 61 mph in a 40 mph zone, was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Brandi Nash of Darien (no age given) was cited shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Plainfield Road on charges of driving with a suspended license and unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Angel Ramirez, 28, of Willowbrook, was cited about 7 p.m. Saturday on Clarendon Hills Road on charges of unlawful possession of marijuana by a passenger.
- Willis Haskins, 18, of Chicago, was cited about 8 p.m. Saturday in the 8600 block of Lemont Road on a charge of speeding more than 35 mph over the limit. He was clocked going twice the 40 mph limit. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
