Revoked License, Restaurant Theft: Darien Blotter

Restaurant customer leaves wallet and phone at his seat, then finds them missing, police say.

DARIEN, IL — The latest reports from the Darien Police Department:

  • Tony Perez, 39, of Darien, was arrested about 1 p.m. Dec. 19 near Lemont Road and Interstate 55 on charges of driving with a revoked license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and having no safety sticker. Perez was ordered to appear in Downers Grove Traffic Court on Jan 9.
  • About 4 p.m. .Dec. 19, a customer at TGI Friday's left his seat for a few minutes, leaving behind his Louis Vuitton wallet and iPhone 11. When he returned, he discovered they were missing. The loss was about $1,280.
  • The police department said it had nothing to report from Dec. 20 to Dec. 25.
