DARIEN, IL – A 2016 graduate of Hinsdale South High School has joined the cast of "Saturday Night Live" for its 50th season, which starts Saturday.

Emil Wakim is a Lebanese American standup comedian, actor and writer, according to a Variety story. In April 2022, Wakim appeared on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."

At Hinsdale South, Wakim regularly made the dean's list.
