Markfort was with three of his co-workers at Q Bar, 8109 Cass Ave., about 12:30 a.m. June 17. Two of the other men were from the Netherlands, while another was from Dayton, Ohio.
The co-worker from Dayton was arguing with a woman at the bar, which angered Markfort, according to the police report.

Later, Markfort and the co-worker squabbled over the issue while they smoked outside, police said.
The co-worker returned inside first. When Markfort came in, he pushed his co-worker off his chair, the report said. In so doing, another nearby co-worker also fell, police said.
Markfort then stomped his foot on the first co-worker's arm, causing red marks, police said. Q Bar staff separated the men. The co-worker also suffered a cut on his left hand, but refused medical attention, police said.
Markfort admitted to pushing the co-worker off the chair, but denied stomping his foot on the co-worker's arm, according to the report. He said he and the co-worker had been having problems at work, police said.
The bar's video verified that Markfort pushed his co-worker off his chair and stomped on his leg, police said.
All the men took Ubers back to their hotel.
