Funds raised at the event will be used to help with the cost of putting together future events.

WILLOWBROOK, IL — The Stop Sterigenics group will hold its first fundraiser on Saturday, Jan. 12 at Kerry Piper in Willowbrook. The fundraiser runs from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. at the restaurant at 7900 Joliet Road.

According to the group, it will be an evening of music, cocktails and conversation. Live entertainment will also be provided by Redline Audio. The group said funds raised at the event will be used to help with the cost of putting together future events and to support the efforts of Stop Sterigenics and other environmental groups working to ban emissions of ethylene oxide.

The group is also looking for donations from local businesses and community members to auction for the fundraiser.
