Street Repaving Project Begins in Darien

DARIEN, IL - The street repaving project will begin May 1 in Darien. Several streets will be resurfaced and the city said its goal is to improve the streets while inconveniencing the residents as little as possible.

According to the city, residents living on these streets will receive flyers with information and timelines before the paving occurs.

The following streets are scheduled to be repaved:

• Wilmette Avenue, from North Frontage to Limit
• Woodland Drive, from North Frontage to Limit
• 79th Street, from Cass to Sawyer
• Peony Place, from Brookbank to High
• Western Avenue, from 67th to North Limit
• Timber Lane, from Cass to Darien Lane
