Suspect Found On Massage Table: Darien Police

Police make arrest after hearing about intoxicated person on massage table.

DARIEN, IL — Darien police handled a number of cases in recent days, including a suspect found on a massage table. Here is information from the latest Darien police reports:

  • Thomas Caher, 50, of Darien, was cited about 10:30 a.m. Aug. 1 in the 6800 block of High Road on a local ordinance charge of trespassing. Police cited him after receiving a call about an intoxicated person that a resident found on a massage table in a house. Caher was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Christian Garza, 25, of Lake Zurich, was arrested about 4:30 a.m. July 29 in the 7500 block of Cass Avenue on charges of aggravated use of a weapon and possession of 30 to 100 grams of marijuana. An officer was called to help a driver with a damaged, inoperable, abandoned car in a southbound lane of Cass Avenue. The car's owner was Garza, who was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Joshua Cheatham, 22, of Lisle, was cited shortly before midnight July 29 in the 1200 block of Cass Avenue on charges of possession of marijuana outside an approved container and illegal use of blue oscillating, rotating or flashing lights on a car. He was stopped because of the lights. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Russell Blount, 25, of Indianapolis, was cited about 2 a.m. July 31 on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • An unlocked car parked in a driveway in the 8500 block of Woodvale Drive was burglarized on July 31 or Aug. 1. A coin bag containing $20 was stolen from the center console.
  • An unlocked car parked in a driveway in the 2900 block of Drover Lane was burglarized overnight July 31. A wallet was removed.
