Suspect Sought In Sprint Store Break-In: Darien Cops

Police are looking for a suspect who broke into the Sprint store at 7517 Cass Ave. early Wednesday morning.

DARIEN, IL — A suspect broke into a Sprint store by smashing through the glass front door early Wednesday, according to police. A patrolling officer first noticed the broken window at the store, located at 7517 Cass Ave. at approximately 2:45 a.m.

During an investigation, police and store employees reviewed surveillance footage that showed the suspect shattering the window of the store's front door. The timestamp on the security footage shows the offender broke in at approximately 1:39 a.m. Police say the suspect then made their way to the Sprint store's back office.

Shortly thereafter, the suspect exited the store via the broken front door and got into a vehicle that was parked in the front lot.

At press time, the total estimated loss was $500 to repair the store's shattered front door.
