Suspended License and Theft: Darien Blotter

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Driving While License Suspended

• Darko Todorovski, 26, of the 1500 block of Lakeview Drive, was arrested at 12:45 a.m. April 19 at North Frontage and Bailey Road for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, speeding and disobeying a stop sign. Todorovski was stopped by police after speeding and going through a stop sign.
• Johnny Reed, 50, South Holland was arrested April 19 at Northgate Road for driving while license suspended and speeding. Police stopped Reed after he was observed traveling at a high rate of speed in the 8900 block of Cass Avenue.

Theft

• Two packages containing cell phones were stolen sometime between 2:35 p.m. April 19 and 6:33 p.m. April 20 from the lobby of a building in the 1500 block of Lakeview. The approximate loss is $1,500.
