Teen Charged In Darien With Domestic Battery
In another case, a woman was accused of taking items from donation bins. This is the second such case in the last couple of weeks.

DARIEN, IL – In the last few days, Darien police handled cases involving domestic battery, theft and DUI. Here is information from the latest Darien police reports:
Domestic battery
- A 19-year-old Plainfield woman was arrested about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday on a domestic battery charge. Police said the incident occurred at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday near Warwick Avenue and Juniper Lane. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Theft

- A 59-year-old Braceville woman was cited about 2 a.m. Sunday on a theft charge. Police said the woman put items into her car from the Amvets donation bins at Walmart, 2189 75th St. She was given a court date and released. This was 10 days after a 70-year-old Woodridge woman was charged with doing the same thing at the bins. Her theft was also alleged to have occurred about 2 a.m.
DUI
- A 23-year-old Bolingbrook man was arrested about 4 a.m. Saturday on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and having no registration. Police said an officer saw the man swerving and drifting across lanes of traffic near Frontage Road and Carlisle Court. He was given a court date and then released.
- A 40-year-old Willowbrook woman was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Sunday on charges of DUI, improper lane usage, driving too fast for conditions and unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver. Police said they responded to a single-car crash at Cass Avenue and Frontage Road. She was given a court date and then released.
- A 26-year-old Dolton man was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Monday on charges of DUI, having open alcohol, improper lane usage and failure to signal when required. Police said the man was driving from lane to lane, speeding up and slowing down near 75th Street and Farmingdale Drive. He was given a court date and then released.
