Teens Can Get Job Help at Indian Prairie Public Library
There's still time to register for the Teen Job Fair and get help with cover letters.
Teens, ages 15-18 years old, getting ready to enter the workforce can do so confidently with help from Indian Prairie Public Library. The library has two upcoming programs to help them learn to write great cover letters and meet potential employers through an online job fair. Register by clicking the links below.

With the library’s annual Teen Job Fair right around the corner, now is the perfect time to start perfecting your cover letter game! A good cover letter can help a potential employer learn more about a potential employee and their skills.

Saturday, Apr. 17, 11 a.m.
Meet local employers in one place virtually. Potential employers will talk about their company, what they are looking for and how to apply. Following the presentations, there will be a Q & A session. The library has Grab Bags for teens who register for this program. They are available in the Kids & Teens department while supplies last.

The library’s database, Brainfuse JobNow, provides cardholder exclusive access to personalized expert analysis of resumes, live interview coaching daily from 2-11 p.m., and other resources as well.
Don't have a card? No problem. Teens, ages 13-17, can apply for a student card. Those over 18 can get a regular library card.
