Theft, Criminal Damage To Vehicle: Darien Blotter

Darien Police reports through June 29.

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Criminal Damage to Vehicle

  • A car door handle was damaged at Woodspring Suites, 951 North Frontage Road sometime between 11 p.m. June 27 and 7:15 a.m. June 28. The approximate value of damage is $300.

  • Two males and one female with children left TGI Fridays, 2201 75th St., sometime between 9:59 p.m. and 11:04 p.m. June 27 without paying the bill. The table was unsatisfied with the food provided from a prior visit as well as today’s, and were given free appetizers. The loss was $62.06.
  • An American flag was stolen from a flag pole in a yard in the 1000 block of Willow Lane sometime between 10:30 p.m. June 27 and 6 a.m. June 28. The approximate loss is $50.
