Theft and Residential Burglary: Darien Blotter

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Theft

• Victim reported a theft of a laptop computer that occured sometime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. March 13 at Indian Prairie Library, 401 Plainfield Road.

Warrant

• Alfredo Resendiz, 24, Chicago, was arrested on a warrant for driving while license suspended at 12:55 a.m. March 15 when his vehicle was observed weaving in the 7500 block of Lemont Road.

Residential Burglary

• A resident in the 2300 block of Dunmore Drive reported that sometime between 10 and 11:30 p.m. March 16 entry was made into their garage and a vehicle was stolen. The vehicle was later recovered by Chicago Police.
