Tom Chlystek, Darien Alderman is running for State Rep

No taxation without representation! A slogan that originated in the
1750s seems to be applicable today. Current career politicians seem to
be more worried about using our taxpayer money to line their pockets and
the pockets of their dear friends than use the funds for the things for
which they were intended. As a result, the state is running a deficit,
pensions are going unfunded and people are leaving Illinois in droves.

If you are tired of false promises and wasteful spending then the
status quo needs to change. I have spent my entire professional career
working as an engineer solving problems. As Alderman for the City of
Darien I have helped clean-up the downtown area, bring in new business
while simultaneously maintaining a balanced budget. This is something
my opponent cannot say. Instead of passing a budget and addressing his
constituents' concerns Jim Durkin is busy passing business to his law
firm. It is time to bring in someone with a successful track record
that will get the job done. I am that person.
