DARIEN, IL – The top-paid employee at Darien School District 61 in the 2022-23 school year was Superintendent Robert Langman.

Langman made $212,795, 38 percent more than the next highest-paid employee.

The highest-paid teacher was Cheryl Halla. At seventh on the list, the reading teacher made $108,457.

The district, which has about 1,300 students, recently approved the release of the 2022-23 compensation list.
