Trace Your Roots With Genealogy Research At Indian Prairie Public Library

DARIEN, IL — If you've ever wanted to learn more about your family's history, you can visit Indian Prairie Public Library for an after-hours dive into your genealogy. The library's Genealogy Research After Hours will take place on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the first floor lobby of the library at 401 Plainfield Rd. in Darien.

Volunteers from the local genealogy group will be on hand to help curious patrons navigate their family trees using tools at the library. The event is limited to 25 people, so be sure to register in advance and bring a list of important family names, locations, and dates that you want to research.
