Trick-Or-Treat Times In Darien; Lions Club Party At Sportsplex

DARIEN, IL — With Halloween quickly approaching, it's time to plan out your trick-or-treat route to ensure the ultimate yield of candy. While Darien does not have set trick-or-treat hours, the city recommends hitting up houses during a suggested time period and to avoid trick-or-treating after dark.

On the City of Darien Facebook page, officials reminded parents that trick-or-treat times are not regulated like they are in many other surrounding towns and cities. They suggest heading out during the daytime.

After dark, ghosts and goblins can visit the Darien Sportsplex for the Lions Club Halloween Party. The party takes place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. and gives kids and parents the chance to keep the Halloween fun going after they're done trick-or-treating.
