Hinsdale Central, South Mock Election Results
One school's students backed Harris. Those at the other supported Trump.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale High School District 86 saw a split decision in its mock presidential elections at Central and South.
At South, Donald Trump defeated Kamala Harris by 14 percentage points, according to the school.
At Central, 243 students, or 52 percent, voted for Harris, while 221 supported Trump, or 48 percent.

About 200 students took part in South's election, which was held during lunch period on Halloween. South's voters made up about 15 percent of the student body.
Central students voted Monday, with 19 percent participating. In the real election, the turnout rate is expected to be far higher.

While most high school students are not old enough to vote in the actual election, those who have turned 18 can.
