Updated Floodplain Maps Issued To DuPage County Communities

DARIEN, IL — An updated preliminary floodplain map has been issued to all communities in DuPage County. According to the city of Darien's newsletter, an open house will be held to review preliminary maps, present the Flood Insurance Study reports, and discuss the process of reviewing and adopting the documents, as well as to listen to public comments.

According to the newsletter, the open house will be held on:

• Aug. 9, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Downers Grove Public Works 5101 Walnut Ave. - Downers Grove
