Burglary from Motor Vehicle

At 1:47 a.m. on Aug. 7 an officer was dispatched to Woodsprings, 951 N. Frontage Road for a
burglary from an unlocked vehicle left in the lot. The victim advised that from Aug. 6 at 9:45
p.m. to Aug. 7 at 1:47 a.m. unknown offender(s) removed landscaping equipment
from vehicle. The approximate loss was $575.

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

At 2:09 a.m. on Aug. 8 an officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of 75th Street for a suspicious
vehicle parked in the lot. Pedro Cabrera, 26, of the 2700 block of 75th Street, was arrested for improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Fraud

At 12:24 p.m. on Aug. 8 an officer was dispatched to the Sprint store, 7517 Cass Ave. for a fraud.
Store employees advised on Aug. 7 at 7:30 p.m. an unknown male black offender made a purchase with a fake bill.

Vandalism

At 3:40 a.m. on Aug. 9 an officer on patrol in the 8600 block of Ailsworth Drive observed a residence with toilet paper in the trees. The residents were made aware of the situation. No loss at
this time, offender(s) unknown.
