Vandals Egg Houses, Cars In Darien: Cops

The vandals egged two separate homes in Darien between Nov. 3 and Nov. 6, police say.

DARIEN, IL — Vandals threw eggs at two separate Darien residences in the same week, according to police. The first incident took place at a home in the 900 block of 69th St. and the second incident took place in the 1000 block of Green Valley Rd., but it is not clear whether they are related.

The 69th St. resident's house and vehicle were hit with eggs on Friday, Nov. 3, sometime between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m., the victim told police. At the Green Valley Rd. residence, the victim told police that sometime between 10 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5 and 6:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 6 suspect(s) threw eggs at vehicles that were parked outside of the home's garage.
