Vehicle Crashes Into Darien House: Cops

The police department appears to have a person of interest, an official said.

DARIEN, IL – A vehicle crashed into a house on Wilcox Avenue over the weekend, Darien police said.

No injuries were reported in the Sunday evening incident.

In an email to Patch, Deputy Police Chief Jason Norton said he did not have information on the extent of the damage to the house or vehicle.

"The driver was not on scene when officers arrived, and at this point, we have not charged anyone," Norton said. "It does appear as though we have a person of interest, but ... the investigation is still pending."
