Village of Clarendon Hills Votes 'Yes' to Maintain Building Heights at Two Stories
Residents vote in favor of preserving Clarendon Hills' 'historic small town charm' in Tuesday's Illinois midterm election.

Residents of Clarendon Hills voted ”yes” to the referendum to maintain building heights at two stories, or 30 feet.
The vote was 1894 “yes” to 1018 “no.” for the referendum.
The referendum statement also asked if planned unit developments should be allowed downtown.

The referendum question is related to a proposed three-story condo that the village has granted preliminary approval, according to the Chicago Tribune.
