Violating Order Of Protection, DUI: Darien Arrests

Darien Police reports through May 16.

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

May 10

  • Tamica Helm, 36, of Westmont, was arrested at 8:05 p.m. at 87th and Lemont Road for driving while license suspended, expired plates, failure to secure child under eight and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Helm was processed and released with a court date of June 17 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.

May 12

  • Charles Williams, 49, of Chicago, was arrested at 3:41 a.m. in the 8900 block of Lemont Road for felony aggravated DUI, DUI, driving while license revoked, disobeying a traffic control signal and improper lane use. Williams was processed and transported to DuPage County Jail.
  • Unknown suspects stole a ring and wallet while victims were moving in the 7900 block of Glen Lane sometime between 11:30 a.m. May 10 and 2 p.m. May 12. The value of the items was $18,015.

May 15

  • David Gutierrez Ramirez, 23, of the 7700 block of Sussex Creek Drive, was arrested at 5:09 p.m. in the 7700 block of Sussex Creek for violation of an order of protection. Gutierrez Ramirez was processed and taken to DuPage County Jail.
