Weapons Charge, Thefts: Darien Cops
A woman was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien released its latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:
Weapons charge
- Valerie Perez, 30, of Plainfield, was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Friday on Heritage Parkway on charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of marijuana, not wearing a seat belt and disobeying a traffic signal. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Thefts

- Coins were reported stolen March 3 from boxes in a house in the 1900 block of Sweetbriar Lane. The loss was $1,500. The crime was believed to have occurred in the last year.
- Deambre Jones, 29, of Springfield, was cited about 4:30 a.m. March 2 at WoodSprings Suites, 951 N. Frontage Road, on a charge of theft. She was attempting to leave with money that was taken from another person's wallet. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Raheem Spencer, 27, of Maywood, was cited about 3:30 p.m. Friday at Walmart, 2189 75th St., on a charge of retail theft. Video showed Spencer failing to scan items in the self-checkout lane, then trying to leave the store. Spencer was released and given a date to appear in court.
DUI
- Dawn Sadorf, 51, of Lombard, was arrested about 1 a.m. March 1 in the 7500 block of Case Avenue on charges of DUI and improper lane usage. She was stopped after speeding, then braking. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Sebastian Morales Basantes, 26, of Romeoville, was arrested about 11:30 p.m. March 1 in the 7100 block of Cass Avenue on charges of DUI and speeding. According to a police report, he was clocked speeding 71 mph in a 40 mph zone. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

- Latoya Foster, 35, of Aurora, was cited about 11 a.m. March 1 in the 7500 block of Lyman Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding. According to a police report, she was speeding 41 mph in a 25 mph zone. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Christopher Gray, 26, of Chicago, was cited about 11:30 a.m. March 1 on Cass Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license, no valid insurance and obstructed license plate. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Marissa Hargrove, 39, of Willowbrook, was cited 2:30 p.m. March 2 on a charge of driving with a suspended license and no front license plate. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Nadine Russell, 38, of Chicago, was cited about 9:30 p.m. March on charges of driving with a suspended license and driving with no license plate light. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Ebony Phillips, 31, of Calumet City, was arrested at 10 a.m. Friday in the 8200 block of Case Avenue on a Cook County warrant and charges of obstructing identification, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver, speeding and no valid driver's license. According to a police report, she was clocked speeding 49 mph in a 40 mph zone. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Javier Alvarado, 20, of Oak Lawn, was cited about 11:30 p.m. Friday in the 7300 block of Case Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license and no front registration. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Dominique Taylor, 32, of Plainfield, was cited about 11 p.m. Friday on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and expired registration. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- David Beckom, 23, of Bolingbrook, was cited about 9:30 a.m. Sunday on Lemont Road on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Jason Anderson, 46, of Joliet, was cited about noon Sunday in the 8900 block of Lemont Road on charges of driving with a suspended license, improper window tinting and unlawful display of registration. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
