1-Wheeled Biker Goes 98 MPH In Darien: Cops
The motorcyclist was charged with aggravated DUI, among other offenses, police said.
DARIEN, IL – It's hard to miss a speeding motorcyclist going on one wheel.
But that's what a Darien officer said he saw Saturday near Cass Avenue and Interstate 55. Police said 40-year-old Lukas Petravicius of Willowbrook was going 98 mph on the one wheel.
While trying to evade the officer, police said, Petravicius made contact with the squad car.

Petravicius was charged with aggravated DUI, driving with a suspended license, speeding, driving an uninsured car, driving with a suspended registration, improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving a motorcycle on one wheel. Police said he was also wanted on a DuPage County warrant charging failure to appear in court.
Petravicius was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
