Woman Faces Weapons Charge In Darien: Cops

She was found with a gun and marijuana in her car, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:

  • Gierra Bell, 30, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, was arrested about 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of Plainfield Road on charges of unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver. She was given a warning for following too closely. A gun was found in her car. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Anthony Azzara, 37, of Elgin, was arrested about 11 p.m. Friday on a DuPage County warrant. He turned himself in. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
