Decatur Police arrest man for unlawful use of a weapon, shots fired investigation ongoing (wcia.com) — Decatur Police arrested a man on weapon-related charges after a foot chase near Jasper and Cantrell, recovering a gun along his path. Officers are also investigating an earlier shots-fired report near Oakwood and King, where they found shell casings but no injuries or damage, and are asking residents to share any information.

Wandering 73-year-old woman is found safe and well by police (herald-review.com) — A 73-year-old Decatur woman who wandered from her home during stormy weather was found safe after an intensive three-hour police search.
