Building Permit Fee Changes Take Effect Feb. 1 In Decatur

Per Ordinance No.2020-01, approved by the City Council on Jan. 6, the city will be adjusting their permit fees based on the attached Permit Fee Schedule effective Feb. 1.

In addition, the city will now require permits for all roofing and solar installations, both commercial and residential. A copy of the roofing contractor’s state licensure will be required with the permit application, unless the homeowner is performing the work.
