City Of Decatur: Road Closure – Faires Parkway

Roadside Traffic Systems, for Norfolk Southern Railway, will be performing railroad crossing repairs on Faries Parkway beginning Tuesday, October 5, 2021, weather permitting.

This work will cause the closure of Faries Parkway starting at 8:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 5, 2021, and will continue to approximately 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 8, 2021.

The detour route will be as follows: Brush College Road to Reas Bridge Road to Christmas Tree Road to Faries Parkway and Faries Parkway to Christmas Tree Road to Reas Bridge Road to Brush College Road. Motorist should slow down, use extreme caution and are encouraged to seek an alternate route around the work zone. For further details, please contact James Woody at 304-542-0721.
