Decatur's Road Closure 1400 Block Of West Wood Street

City Crews will be performing tree removal in the 1400 Block of West Wood Street, beginning Friday, November 22, 2019, weather permitting. This work will cause the total closure of the 1400 Block of West Wood Street between McClellan and Taylor starting at 8:30 a.m., and will continue to approximately 2:30 p.m., Friday, November 22, 2019. Signs and cones will direct traffic for East and West bound traffic on West Wood Street. Motorists should slow down, use extreme caution and are encouraged to seek an alternate route around the work zone. For further details, please contact Dan Benscoter at 217-875-4820.
