Leadership, Mentoring Info Session for DeKalb High School Girls Set For Sept. 7
The DeKalb-Decatur chapter of 100 Black Women will host an info session for area girls Sept. 7.
From the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Decatur-DeKalb Chapter: Are you interested in career and personal development, becoming a strong leader and learning the necessary tools to excel in college?
Then, Legacy is for YOU!
Legacy, a leadership/mentoring program of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Decatur-DeKalb chapter, will host an Information Session on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, from 7-8 p.m. The free event will be held in the Conference Room of the DeKalb Medical Center at Hillandale, 2801 DeKalb Medical Parkway, Lithonia, GA., 30058.

Young ladies in 9th-12th grades are encouraged to apply. Those who are selected for the Legacy program will engage in monthly educational workshops focused on economic empowerment, career planning, college preparedness, health and wellness, and other topics. Participants are also required to support community service projects hosted by the Legacy program, and will receive mentoring support from the members of the Decatur-DeKalb chapter.
