Gunmen Hold 2 Kids and Parent at Gunpoint in Deerfield Home Invasion

Three armed men got away with $500 in cash and about $10,000 worth of jewelry during a Thursday night home invasion in unincorporated Deerfield in which a homeowner and two young children were held at gunpoint.

A young boy who lives at a home of in the 100 block of Inverrary Lane was playing outside with a friend around 7:20 p.m. when they were forced inside the home by the armed men, according to NBC Chicago. Once inside, the men forced the boy’s parent and two children to the ground until they surrendered valuables.
