68-Year-Old Man Arrested for Impersonating a Police Officer

Michael Shur, 68, of the 1900 block of Calvin Ct., Riverwoods, was arrested and charged with attempted impersonation of a police officer after police responded to a report of a dispute where Shur allegedly presented himself as a police officer by showing identification, according to the Highland Park Police Department.

Shur was released on a cash bond with a court date of September 2, 2014 at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan.
