Alcohol, Drugs Combo DUI Arrest Made: Riverwoods PD Blotter

RIVERWOODS, IL — The following information comes from the Riverwoods Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Juan R. Lopez Gomez, 42, of the 4700 block of N. Sawyer Avenue, Chicago, is accused of improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving while license suspended, driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 3:29 a.m. Nov. 27, near Lake Cook and Portwine roads. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 9, 2025.
• Diana D. Jacobs, 46, of Naples, Florida, is accused of improper lane usage, DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 10:15 p.m. Nov. 28, following a one-vehicle traffic crash near Deerfield and Saunders roads. She was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 18.
• Mykola Mykytash, 52, of the 400 block of Thornhill Lane, Wheeling, is accused of improper lane usage, DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 1:42 a.m. Dec. 1, near Lake Cook and Portwine roads. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 1.
• Jamari Aujane Renfro, 30, of the 1100 block of E. Candlenut Lane, Palatine, is accused of speeding, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 2:08 a.m. Nov. 23, near Lake Cook and Saunders roads. She was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 18.
• Sergio Lopez Vargas, 31, of the 2000 block of Kristan Avenue, North Chicago, is accused of speeding, open transportation of alcohol, DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 4:11 a.m. Nov. 24, near Lake Cook and Portwine roads. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 18.
• Rene Juan Garcia Ponce, 41, of the 100 block of Blueberry Lane, Round Lake Beach, is accused of speeding, DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 2:37 a.m. Nov. 9, near Lake Cook and Portwine roads. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 11.
• Ashley A. Blincoe, 36, of the 3300 block of Sunnyside Avenue, Rockford, is accused of speeding, unlawful transportation of cannabis within a vehicle, DUI of a combination of alcohol and drugs, and was arrested at 2:12 a.m. Nov. 10, near Lake Cook and Portwine roads. She was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 11.
