Drunken Driver Accused Of Battering Cop: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. RECKLESS DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM

Marianna Mareewa, 29, of the 19400 block of W. Krueger Court, unincorporated Mundelein, is accused of reckless discharge of a firearm, and was arrested April 13 in the 19400 block of Krueger Court, unincorporated Mundelein. She was released and assigned a court date of May 20.

IDENTITY THEFT

INDIRECT CONTEMPT OF COURT

Luis G. Trujillo, 34, of the 500 block of Willow Court, Waukegan, had a warrant for indirect contempt of court, and was arrested April 15 in the 200 block of Water Street, Waukegan. He was released and a future court date was to be determined at the time of the report.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO GOVERNMENT PROPERTY

Alessis Botello, 23, of the 400 block of Buckboard Drive, Wheeling, is accused of criminal damage to government property, and was arrested April 16 at the Lake County Jail. He was being held there on other charges at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of April 29 for the new charge.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

BODY ATTACHMENT

Cordasiah L. Loury, 28, of the 2800 block of Galilee Avenue, Zion, had a warrant for body attachment, and was arrested April 16 at Rollins Road and Drury Lane, unincorporated Round Lake. Bond payment was $1,000 and a court date of April 27 was assigned.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY TO A PEACE OFFICER

Walter R. Hamberger, Jr., 61, of the 35100 block of N. Lake Matthews Trail, Ingleside, is accused of aggravated battery to a peace officer, DUI alcohol, fleeing to elude, and was arrested April 16 in the 35100 block of N. Lake Matthews Trail, Ingleside. He was released and assigned a court date of May 18.

OBSTRUCTING IDENTIFICATION

Krystal S. Pomilio, 38, no permanent address, had a warrant for obstructing identification, and was arrested April 17 in the 39000 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. She was released and assigned a court date of May 13.

BATTERY

TaBrenda D. Lewis, 28, of the 1200 block of Cardinal Drive, Zion, is accused of battery, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and was arrested April 18 in the 20500 block of N. Elizabeth Avenue, unincorporated Lincolnshire. Lewis was released and assigned a court date of May 18.
