Victoria Gibbons, 42, of the 800 block of Dartmouth Drive, Island Lake, had a warrant for theft and was arrested May 7 in the 800 block of Dartmouth Drive, Island Lake. She was released and assigned a court date of June 2.
BATTERY
Richard A. Carter, 23, of the 1400 block of W. Dugdale Road, Waukegan, had a warrant for aggravated battery and was arrested May 7 in the 0-100 block of N. County Street, Waukegan. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of June 3.
PROBATION VIOLATION
Austin R. Aranda, 29, of the 33600 block of N. Royal Oak Lane, unincorporated Grayslake, had a warrant for a probation violation and was arrested May 8 in the 33600 block of N. Royal Lane, unincorporated Grayslake. He was released and assigned a court date of May 14.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
Bobby J. Smith, 42, of Racine, Wisconsin, is accused of possession of a controlled substance and was arrested May 7 at N. Holdridge Avenue and Beach Road, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of May 27.
POSSESSION OF COCAINE
Marlette R. Bernal, 48, of Racine, Wisconsin, had a warrant out of Ohio for possession of cocaine and was arrested May 7 at N. Holdridge Avenue and Beach Road, Beach Park. A future court date in Ohio was to be determined at the time of the report.
