Ali Sillah, of Deerfield, was named to the dean's list at Olivet Nazarene University during the recently completed spring 2026 semester. To qualify for inclusion on the dean's list, a student must have been enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student and must have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 grading scale.

Lucio Morgan, a physical education major from Deerfield and member of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's wrestling team(s), was one of 75 Warhawks who were recognized as 2025-26 Chancellor's Scholar-Athletes. Morgan was recognized in a ceremony this month by Chancellor Corey A. King and Director of Athletics Ryan Callahan. To be recognized as Scholar-Athletes, student-athletes must have maintained a 3.25 cumulative grade point average or above through the end of the 2025 fall semester. Honorees must have participated in a varsity sport for two years, must be of senior academic status and must have accumulated at least 90 degree credits. Each Scholar-Athlete received a commemorative gift.
