DEERFIELD, IL — Deerfield will host a full day of food, music, family activities and community events Saturday, Sept. 19, culminating with Harvest Fest and the village's rescheduled July 3 fireworks.
Activities will begin downtown before shifting to Shepard Park for the evening celebration.
The Deerfield Farmers Market will run from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Park Avenue.
Families can also attend Touch-a-Truck from 9 a.m. to noon during the market. The event will give children an opportunity to see and explore various vehicles.
The Cruise into Harvest Fest Car Show is scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m. in downtown Deerfield.
Presented in partnership with the Village of Deerfield and Deerfield Lions Club, the event will feature registered vehicles and live music by Lost in Rockford.
Community members are invited to register vehicles for the show.
Harvest Fest will continue at Shepard Park with food trucks, beer and wine, children's activities, live music and a bags tournament.
The Deerfield Park District's bags tournament will take place from 6 to 8 p.m., with advance registration available online.
Roger That will perform from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The rescheduled July 3 fireworks display is scheduled to begin at 8:15 p.m.
Following the fireworks, 90s Pop Nation will perform from 8:45 to 10:45 p.m.
