LAKE COUNTY, IL — A Waukegan man accused of driving under the influence while possessing a firearm and a Lake Villa woman arrested on a burglary warrant are among the arrests in the latest Lake County Sheriff's Office blotter.
The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.
Mabrouka A. Boundaoui, 19, of Gurnee, was arrested Aug. 24 after authorities obtained a warrant charging her with theft in connection with an incident in the 18500 block of West Geier Road in unincorporated Gurnee.
Jordan M. Hill, 22, of Waukegan, was charged with battery Aug. 24 at the Lake County Jail. He was released ahead of trial and given a Sept. 9 court date.
Kevin F. Tobin, 61, of Lake Barrington, was charged Aug. 24 with DUI involving alcohol following an incident at Old Barn and Woodview roads in Lake Barrington. He was released ahead of trial.
Mario A. Ayala, 36, of unincorporated Gurnee, was charged Aug. 24 with DUI involving alcohol, driving with a suspended license and having no insurance following an incident at Rollins Road and Drury Lane in unincorporated Grayslake. He was released ahead of trial.
Samuel D. Chavez, 32, of Beach Park, was arrested after authorities obtained a domestic battery warrant stemming from an incident in the 12900 block of West Tyler Avenue in Beach Park. He was also charged with domestic battery Aug. 25 and released ahead of trial.
Chandler Vandermeer, 36, of Lakemoor, was arrested Aug. 25 in the 300 block of Washington Street in Waukegan on a warrant charging him with manufacture or delivery of cocaine. He was released ahead of trial.
Daniel S. Goodson, 70, of unincorporated Grayslake, was charged with domestic battery Aug. 25 following an incident in the 33600 block of North Oakland Drive. He was released ahead of trial.
Bryant A. Chavez-Avila, 27, of Waukegan, was arrested Aug. 26 on a warrant charging him with violating an order of protection and disorderly conduct. He was being held in the Lake County Jail.
Tatiera S. Ford, 34, of Chicago, was arrested Aug. 26 in Waukegan on a retail theft warrant. She was released ahead of trial.
Lorenzo L. Taylor, 23, of Winthrop Harbor, was arrested Aug. 26 on a warrant charging him with unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and domestic battery. He was being held in the Lake County Jail.
Lemar A. Devost, 38, of Waukegan, was charged Aug. 26 with unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver following an incident at North Lewis Avenue and Bonnie Brook Lane in Waukegan. He was released ahead of trial.
Jeffrey L. Miller, 60, of unincorporated Mundelein, was charged Aug. 26 with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct following an incident in the 28800 block of North Lemon Road. He was released ahead of trial.
David Dolan, 21, of unincorporated Lake Villa, was charged Aug. 27 with violating the sex offender registry following an incident in Waukegan. He was released ahead of trial.
Fernelis W. Bigelow-Lighty, 29, who has no permanent address, was the subject of an identity theft warrant obtained Aug. 27 in connection with an incident in Waukegan.
Miguel Garcia Jr., 25, of Waukegan, was arrested Aug. 27 on a DUI warrant in Waukegan. He was released ahead of trial.
Jason A. Hart, 35, who has no permanent address, was charged Aug. 27 with violating an order of protection following an incident in the 38200 block of North Sheridan Road in Beach Park. He was released ahead of trial.
Sebastian A. Wilkosz, 34, of Wauconda, was arrested Aug. 27 in Zion on a McHenry County warrant charging him with violating an order of protection.
Rahshan D. Duffie, 43, of Beach Park, was arrested Aug. 27 on a retail theft warrant following an incident at West Beach Road and Linden Avenue in Waukegan. He was also charged with driving with a revoked license and was being held in the Lake County Jail.
Kevin M. Black, 42, of Crystal Lake, was charged Aug. 27 with reckless driving following an incident at West Big Hollow Road and North Sequoia Drive in unincorporated McHenry. He was released ahead of trial.
Jamal N. Bajwa, 31, of unincorporated Lake Villa, was charged Aug. 28 with violating the Violent Offender Against Youth Registry following an incident in the 38800 block of North Villa Court. He was being held in the Lake County Jail.
Luis F. Ayala, 34, of Chicago, was arrested Aug. 28 in Waukegan on a DuPage County DUI warrant.
Meghan C. O'Toole, 35, of Ingleside, was charged Aug. 28 with criminal trespass to property following an incident in the 38200 block of North Lee Avenue in unincorporated Spring Grove. She was released ahead of trial.
Jancarlos Zuniga, 22, of Waukegan, was charged Aug. 28 with DUI involving alcohol, unlawful possession of a firearm while intoxicated and having no insurance following an incident at Route 132 and Rollins Road in Gurnee. He was released ahead of trial.
Adam J. Hergenreder, 25, of Gurnee, was charged Aug. 28 with DUI involving alcohol and unlawful transportation of open alcohol following an incident at Wadsworth and Delany roads in Wadsworth. He was released ahead of trial.
Isabel M. Steele-Cartwright, 31, of unincorporated Lake Villa, was arrested Aug. 29 on a burglary warrant following an incident in the 1500 block of Catalpa Avenue in Waukegan.
She was also charged with violating pretrial release, criminal trespass to a vehicle and attempting to flee or elude police. She was released ahead of trial.
Bryant Martin, 47, of Chicago, was charged Aug. 29 with DUI involving alcohol following an incident at Route 45 and Rollins Road in unincorporated Gurnee. He was released ahead of trial.
Rodolfo Baltierra, 35, of North Chicago, was arrested Aug. 29 on a domestic battery warrant following an incident in the 2000 block of Kristen Avenue in North Chicago. He was released ahead of trial.
Lushone R. Bennett, 49, of Lindenhurst, was charged Aug. 29 with obstructing a peace officer following an incident in the 1800 block of Prairie Ridge Circle in Lindenhurst. He was released ahead of trial.
Dontez A. Smith, 32, who has no permanent address, was arrested Aug. 30 in unincorporated Gurnee on a Henry County warrant involving traffic offenses.
Joshua D. James, 37, of Lindenhurst, was charged Aug. 30 with criminal damage to property following an incident in the 1800 block of Sprucewood Lane in Lindenhurst. He was released ahead of trial.
Jan B. Brito-Lagunas, 22, of Beach Park, was charged Aug. 30 with domestic battery following an incident in the 38400 block of North Sheridan Road in Beach Park. He was released ahead of trial.
The Lake County Sheriff's Office notes that all charges are allegations and defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
