โข NFL Mourns Three Former Players as They Died Before Week 1 Began (gridironheroics.com) โ Former Chicago Bears fullback Matt Suhey, a key member of the 1985 championship team, was found dead at his home in the Deerfield area earlier this month, reportedly of natural causes. His passing comes as the NFL also mourns former players Alphonso Smith Jr. and Arthur Marshall, whose recent deaths have cast a somber tone over the start of the 2026 season.
