Deerfield Man Charged With Battery To Correctional Officer: Lake County Arrests

The Lake County Sheriff's Office also reported DUI, burglary, trespassing and domestic battery arrests during the week.

LAKE COUNTY, IL — A Deerfield man charged with aggravated battery to a correctional officer was among the arrests reported by the Lake County Sheriff's Office in its latest weekly summary.

The following information comes from Lake County Sheriff's Office reports. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

Aggravated Battery To Correctional Officer

Luis A. Salgado, 44, of Deerfield, was arrested Sept. 11 at the Lake County Jail and charged with aggravated battery to a correctional officer. He was detained in the Lake County Jail and given a Sept. 15 court date.

Burglary, Retail Theft

Kahdija D. Terry, 32, of Hillside, was the subject of a warrant obtained Sept. 8 in connection with burglary and retail theft in the 20500 block of North Rand Road in Deer Park.

Kahdijah D. Terry, 32, of Hillside, was also the subject of a retail theft warrant obtained Sept. 10 at the same Deer Park location.

DUI Arrests

Maria Isabel Rojas, 60, of Round Lake Beach, was arrested Sept. 7 near Grand and Sherwood avenues in Lake Villa and charged with DUI-alcohol. She was released pretrial and given an Oct. 21 court date.

Nancy Alende, 43, of Waukegan, was arrested Sept. 8 near Green Bay and Kenosha roads in Beach Park and charged with DUI-alcohol and no insurance. She was released pretrial and given an Oct. 14 court date.

William L. Upton, 34, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant Sept. 10 in the 25500 block of Route 173 in unincorporated Antioch and charged with DUI-drugs. He was released pretrial and given an Oct. 14 court date.

Brian Winfrey, 34, of Waukegan, was arrested Sept. 12 in the 1600 block of Rice Street in Waukegan and charged with DUI-alcohol, reckless driving and a cannabis violation. He was released pretrial and given an Oct. 28 court date.

Operating Watercraft Under The Influence

David A. Wasikowski, 44, of unincorporated Antioch, was arrested Sept. 7 on Channel Lake and charged with operating a watercraft under the influence of alcohol. He was released pretrial and given an Oct. 28 court date.

Domestic Battery, Aggravated Assault

Luis Lira, 33, of unincorporated Lake Villa, was arrested Sept. 13 in the 37000 block of North Capillo Avenue and charged with domestic battery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was released pretrial and given an Oct. 7 court date.

Other Arrests

Micaila L. Kline, 23, of unincorporated Round Lake, was arrested Sept. 8 on a warrant accusing her of violating an order of protection.

Jose D. Salgado, 47, of Waukegan, was arrested Sept. 9 on a retail theft warrant.

Stacey D. Kelly, 41, of Round Lake, was arrested Sept. 10 on a warrant charging fleeing a peace officer.

Derrick D. Taylor, 47, of Waukegan, was arrested Sept. 10 on a forgery warrant.

Robert Javelosa, 62, of Volo, was arrested Sept. 11 in the 100 block of Abbott Park Road in North Chicago and charged with criminal trespass to property.

Angela R. Zamitalo, 42, of Whitewater, Wisconsin, was arrested Sept. 12 in the 26100 block of West Channel Road in unincorporated Antioch on a warrant charging criminal trespass to a vehicle.

Ruben Macias, 44, of Zion, and Humberto D. Hernandez-Cervantes, 36, of Beach Park, were each arrested Sept. 13 in the 38200 block of North Sheridan Road in Beach Park and charged with criminal trespass to a residence.

Dakotha J. Gaines, 28, of Lindenhurst, was arrested Sept. 13 in the 3800 block of Salem Lake Drive in Long Grove and charged with criminal trespass to property and criminal defacement to property. Warren M. Demore, 21, of Lindenhurst, was arrested at the same location and charged with criminal trespass to property and criminal defacement to property.
