Arson Suspected in Weekend House Fire

The home in Lincolnshire is currently uninhabitable.

Police say arson is suspected in a fire that damaged a home in Lincolnshire over the weekend, the Daily Herald reports.

Police said they received a phone call at 6:30 a.m. Sunday regarding a possible arson at the home in the 0 to 10 block of Cambridge Lane and during a preliminary investigation, found there was an “incendiary device” used to start the blaze,” according to the article.

No one was injured in the blaze and the home was not occupied at the time of the fire, the newspaper reports. The home is currently uninhabitable.
