For over 40 years, Deerbrook Park Toastmasters has been supporting the local community by helping local members improve their leadership skills and their communication skills, which include, among other things, leading and speaking before small groups/teams and speaking before larger audiences--and building confidence in the process.
If you really want to become a more skilled and confident leader and communicator, in both professional and personal settings, Toastmasters can help you! It's been doing this doing for its members for the last 100 years! And if English isn't your 1st language, Toastmasters can certainly help you increase your command of the English language.
The cost of joining is minimal ($11.50/month dues plus a $28 one-time new member fee for registration and educational material), but the results can be life changing. Chris Matthews, American Political Commentator and former talk show host (1997-2020) said this about Toastmasters: "Toastmasters changed my life... I don't know what I would have done without that positive boost."
Join us as a guest for our next meeting and see how we can help you achieve your leadership/communication goals. Our next meeting is on Wednesday, June 3rd, in-person at the Deerfield Library and by Zoom. The meeting starts at 6:45 pm and ends at 8:30 pm. Go to the Club's website at https://deerbrookpark.toastmastersclubs.org/and click on the "Contact Us" tab on the left of the homepage under the Main Menu and we'll get back to you with more information.
