Adult Hanukkah Shabbat

Hanukkah at Kol Hadash celebrates human courage, the right to be different, and light in the darkest season — history told honestly, joy without required belief. Secular, interfaith, and questioning families aren’t the exception here. They’re the point.

You bring the menorahs; we’ll bring the candles! Join us for a special Hanukkah AND Shabbat celebration as we explore the role of fire in Jewish life, from animal sacrifices to shabbat rules to the “Festival of Lights.” A great way to mark the first night of the Jewish winter festival together!
