The Center for Enriched Living Raises a Record-Breaking $482,000 at its Golf Tournament!
CEL's 21st Annual Charity Golf Tournament had another record-breaking year, raising more than $482,000, and more than 250 golfers.

The Center for Enriched Living’s (CEL) 21st Annual Charity Golf Tournament had another record-breaking year, raising more than $482,000, and bringing more than 250 golfers to the Twin Orchard Country Club on Monday, August 8. Each year the event builds awareness of CEL, a privately funded non-profit that provides a community of friends and a world of opportunities for more than 425 Chicagoland people of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism, Down syndrome and cerebral palsy.
HPE (Hewlitt Packard Enterprise) was the title sponsor of the event. “Our partnership with HPE is invaluable and we are extremely grateful for their continued support,” says Randi Frank, Director of Development at CEL. “Their corporate values of supporting inclusion and diversity align with our values at CEL.” Additional sponsors included Arrow ECS, Dell, Skender Foundation, NetApp, AVNET Technology Solutions, Lenovo, Proline, Promark/Veeam, Samsung Electronics and VMware with more than 65 other sponsors.
Golfers learned about the impact of their participation as they tested their skills in various contests. “We know that the golfers are here for a great day of golf. It’s our hope that as they interact with our members who volunteer at the event, that they will want to get involved at CEL and make a difference in the lives of people with developmental disabilities,” Frank continued.

“The support we receive from our sponsors and golfers impacts the quality of life for people of all ages with developmental disabilities. The proceeds are used to enrich their lives through social, arts, and skill-building programs – connected to friends and the community,” adds Harriet Levy, Executive Director of CEL.
