Chamber Music Festival Leaders to Preview Season on WFMT

The executive director and the artistic director of the will preview the upcoming season on WFMT's Impromptu at 3 p.m. May 30.

Pianist Angela Yoffe and violinist Vadim Gluzman will be joined by arts administrator/educator Henry Fogel. The show features artists who are about to perform in the Chicago area. The show is hosted by Kerry Frumkin.

The pair will chat about the season and perform live in WFMT's Levin Performance Studio.

The program can be heard at 98.7 WFMT in the Chicago area, and free streaming is available at wfmt.com.

This year's season will feature different concerts at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on each of three days, June 6, 8 and 9. All will be performed at , 1300 Shermer Rd., Northbrook.

Highlights include Mendelssohn's Octet for Strings and Stravinsky's A Soldier's Tale.
